Level 1 – Encourage Families to Join BabyNavigator.com
This level is appropriate for providers who would like their families to screen with the SoCo CheckUp and receive free access to our family resources and tools; but prefer not to be active participants in the screening process. The provider’s responsibility at this level is to encourage parents to register on BabyNavigator.com, actively encourage them to complete the screening, and use the online resources. Baby Navigator staff will contact the parents to share screening results and manage the parent’s access to our online resources and tools. Registering for a Care Team account is required so that a parent can share screening results and related information with the provider, if desired. With the Care Team account, the provider can elect to receive screening results via fax.
Level 2 – Encourage Families to Join and Screen on Your Baby Navigator Provider Portal – We Share Results
This level is appropriate for providers who would like their families to screen with the SoCo CheckUp and receive free access to our family resources and tools; and want to be able to view their patients’ screening results – but don’t want to share the results with parents. The provider’s responsibility at this level is to invite parents to register and encourage them to complete the screening and use the online resources. Parents will have the option to get their results right away or to schedule a call with Baby Navigator staff to get the results. Baby Navigator staff will share screening results, release the results to the parent portal and manage the parent’s access to our online resources on the provider’s behalf. The provider will have access to the screening results once they have been released to the parent.
Level 3 – Encourage Families to Join and Screen on Your Baby Navigator Provider Portal – You Share Results
This level is appropriate for providers who would like their families to screen with the SoCo CheckUp and have free access to the family resources and tools; and want to fully manage their parents’ Baby Navigator experience. The provider’s responsibility at this level is to invite parents to register and complete the screening, share the screening results with the parent, and encourage them to use the online resources. They will also control parents’ access to Autism Navigator resources and tools. Providers at this level are required complete either the Autism Navigator for Primary Care Course – OR- JumpStart to Coaching in Everyday Activities Course required (CME and CEU Credits). Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants are only required to complete the JumpStart Unit in the Primary Care course. All others are required to complete Units 1-6 in the Primary Care course or all of the Autism Navigator JumpStart to Coaching course. Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Part 2 opportunity available for Physicians and Physician Assistants who complete Units 1-6 of the Primary Care Course.
